The state of Israel was formed in 1948 at the end of World War II as a refuge and safe haven for the Jewish people. Over the last 61 years, Israel has flourished and increased to total over 7 million people. The USA was founded on a similar unity of religious beliefs and has increased in size to total over 307 million people. All differences considered, what do you think the current US health care reformers could learn and successfully implement from the Israel health care system?
